Rings of invariants for elementary abelian p-groups.
For a representation V of a group G over a field F, there is an induced action of G on the ring of polynomial functions F[V]. The ring of invariants is the subring of F[V] consisitng of those polynomials fixed by the action. I will discuss recent work and conjectures for rings of invariants for modular representations of elementary abelian p-groups.
