Affine PBW bases and KLR algebras

The theory of Poincaire-Birkoff-Witt bases for quantised enveloping algebras of affine type has now been around for a while. We will talk about this theory, and the problem of categorifying these bases, in particular in the framework of Khovanov-Lauda-Rouquier algebras.
