Speaker: Adam Paruskinski Title: Recent development in stratification theory: arc-wise analytic and bi-Lipschitz stratification. Abstract: I will give an informal introduction to recent constructions of bi-Lipschitz and arc-wise analytic trivializations of families of complex (or real) analytic (or algebraic) singularities. They both strengthen considerably Whitneyâs (a) and (b) regularity conditions. First I will provide general introduction to the equisingularity problem, stratifying conditions and continuous moduli. Then I will motivate and present our results and some applications including Whitneyâs fibering conjecture. Based on joint work with Laurentiu Paunescu.
