Speaker:
Omar Ortiz (University of Melbourne)
Title:
Schubert calculus for complex reflection groups
Abstract:
-compact groups are the homotopy analogues of compact Lie groups. The Weyl group of a -compact group is a complex reflection group. In this talk I will show how the information encoded in the Weyl group can be used to study -compact flag varieties via moment graph theory, generalizing results of Goresky-Kottwitz-MacPherson in equivariant Schubert calculus.
