Informal lectures on quantum algorithms: Laxman Alase, Muraleedharan -- Quantum algorithms

This week, we will have two informal lectures on quantum computing by Abhijeet Laxman
Alase (USYD) and Gopikrishnan Muraleedharan (MQ).  

The lectures will take place on Tuesday November 5th, 11-12 in the AGR (Carslaw 829);
Wednesday November 6th, 12-13 in the AGR.  

Familiarity with some basics of quantum mechanics (states, unitary evolutions and
projective measurements) will be assumed.
