Applied Maths Seminar: Cirstea -- On classification of isolated singularities of solutions associated with the Hardy--Sobolev operator

In this talk we present a complete classification of the isolated singularities of
stationary solutions for nonlinear Schrodinger-type equations.  We reveal a trichotomy
of positive singular solutions in the case of superlinear nonlinearities with
subcritical growth, where the fundamental solutions associated with the Hardy-Sobolev
operator play a crucial role.  This is joint work with N. Chaudhuri (University of
Wollongong).
