    Projective modules over Lie algebras.

    Friday 5th March, 12-1pm, Carslaw 375.

    J. T. Stafford has proved that every non-abelian finite dimensional Lie algebra has a non-free projective module of rank 1. I shall explain the main steps of his argument. (No knowledge of homological algebra is required.)
