Spetses I: Cyclotomic Hecke algebras.
Friday 12th February, 12-1pm, Carslaw 375.
I want to give a survey of known and conjectured properties of cyclotomic
Hecke algebras, that is, the natural generalization of Hecke algebras to
the context of complex reflection groups.
Spetses II: Reflection data.
Friday 26th February, 12-1pm, Carslaw 375.
I will report on reflection data, which are in some sense a generalization
of the root data of reductive algebraic groups, where the Weyl group has
been replaced by an arbitrary complex reflection group.
