The negative of a vector

The negative of the vector from A to B is the vector from B to A. It has the same length as ---> AB but the opposite direction.

Thus the negative of the vector ---> AB is ---> BA and we also write - --> BA = ----> AB.

          B                      B  -A-->B                               -B-->A  = - -A-->B A                     A
