Cellular automata model of HIV infection on tilings of the plane
Chris Ormerod
Abstract
In this study, we explore the application of R.M.Zorzenon dos
Santoses' model of the evolution of Human Immunodeficiency
Virus (HIV), to Cellular Automata on different tilings of the
plane. We investigate how the geometry of the model changes
the overall dynamics of the system. In particular how issues
of dimension and different methods of defining nearest
neighbours allows us to modify the model to more accurately
simulate the underlying system.
