The two-boundary Temperley-Lieb algebraI will discuss the representation theory of a finite Temperley-Lieb quotient of the affine Hecke algebra of type C. I will also discuss the context in which this algebra arises in the theory of exactly solvable lattice models, and how its representation theory sheds some light on recent progress on a still open problem. |
